"Intuition is always comprehensive. Intuition is direct knowledge, unprocessed by logic and wordy reasoning. Intuition is the instantaneous understanding by which we grasp the truth without the aid of any previous knowledge. It is difficult to describe what the process of intuition consists of. In my own case a a considerable period of time was necessary to clarify the process of artistic intuition and translate it into logical terms."
